Wednesday, 17 July 2024, FAAST Aviation held a Graduation event for the October class 2023 at the Royal Darmo Malioboro Hotel. This event took place with service and fun, attended by the students' parents, instructor, and representatives from the Airport Operation Center (AOC) Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA).
Preparation and Implementation of Events
Since morning, The atmosphere at the Royal Darmo Malioboro Hotel was filled with students, family, and invited guests. The hotel's elegant main hall was transformed into a venue for historic moments for the graduates. Elegant decoration with touches of blue and white, which is the proud color of FAAST Aviation, adding a grand impression to the event.
The event starts at 09.00 WIB with opening by the Master of Ceremony (MC), followed by singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya. The atmosphere became more solemn when the opening prayer was offered, asking for smoothness and blessings for the entire chain of events.
Welcome and Appreciation
Director of FAAST Aviation, gave a warm welcome to all attendees. In his speech, he expressed his pride towards all students who had successfully completed their education well. In addition, also thank the instructors who have provided guidance as well as the parents who have entrusted their children's education to FAAST Aviation.
The next speech was delivered by representatives of the AOC YIA Airport, who expressed appreciation for the quality of FAAST Aviation graduates. He hopes that graduates can contribute positively to the aviation industry, especially at YIA Airport.
After the welcome, The event continued with the presentation of awards to outstanding students. Awards are given in various categories, such as the best academic performance, discipline, and practical skills. Each student who received an award was invited to the stage to receive a certificate and trophy from the instructors and guests of honor.
Peak of the event: Graduation Procession
The most awaited moment has finally arrived, namely the graduation procession. The graduates were called one by one to the stage to receive their graduation certificates. With pride, they walked towards the stage accompanied by loud applause from the entire audience. Each student wore a toga and received congratulations from the instructors and guests of honor.
